Once you speak to a coach, you can schedule times that are convenient for you to talk. The Quitline coach will help make a plan that works for you and offer free nicotine patches and lozenges.

1-800-QUIT-NOW (1-800-784-8669) is the phone number for the national network of tobacco quitlines. Quitlines offer evidence-based support—like coaching, referrals to local programs, free medication, websites, and a texting program—to people who want to reduce or quit tobacco use.

What to Expect
You will get a call or text from a coach at 1-800-QUIT-NOW (800-784-8669)
You will be asked a few questions about your history of smoking and using tobacco and your goals.
You can enroll in the quit program that works best for you and your schedule.
You can attend phone-based coaching sessions tailored to your quit goals.
If appropriate, you may receive NRT medications such as patches and lozenges to help reduce urges to smoke.
